It is now possible for you to arrange a registrar or church person to perform your service in our beautiful surroundings.

Civil Ceremonies

Malone House is a licensed venue for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships and there are three rooms available for hire in which these can be held. Details as follows:

Hilsborowe Room – Capacity 90 Theatre Style

William Legge Room – Capacity 65 Theatre Style

Montgomery Room – Capacity 30 Theatre Style

If you are having a civil ceremony on its own (without Reception) you must hire one of the above rooms for a two hour period from 11.30am – 1.30pm and the civil service must take place at 12 Noon . A Civil Ceremony also requires a consultation with the Registrar from Belfast City Council and this takes place in Bridal Room 2. This room must also be hired for the same two hour period.  Room Hire Rates

If you are having a civil ceremony followed by a reception then the hire of the room is included in our 10 hour block booking wedding package. The Ceremony must take place at 3.00pm . Wedding Room Hire Rates
